What is Bak Kwa?
Bak Kwa literally means dried meat (very similar to jerky). Our pork jerky recipes offer a choice of flavours to give as gifts, or enjoy yourself. Choose from Peri Peri Pork Jerky, Lemon Pepper Pork Jerky, Original Pork Jerky or Super Hot Peri Peri Pork Jerky.
Like jerky, Bak Kwa is generally thinly sliced pieces of pork (or other meats) blended with a combination of spices, and other condiments to a traditional recipe. It is then air dried and grilled to give a smoky flavour and to preserve the meat.
